(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi guys let me describe the ps3 its very rare its the 60gb plays ps2 games model and i bought it on a 1.16 firmware it was brand new and i bought it like 1 half years ago. so it was basically brand new and i updated it too 3.55 ofw - 3.55 kmeaw and its been on kmeaw cfw ever since.

No problems at all i took my time did alot of research into updating firmwares and cfw ect and how too safely doo it.

I was thinking about updating too 4.40 regero so i decided too safely remove the 3.55 kmeaw cfw and change too 3.55 ofw here is the steps i took.

I used the same 3.55 OFW from when i first updated the ps3 when i got it when it was on 1.16 firmware soo i know that 3.55 ofw is legit and isnt modified.

And i used the recovery menu i choose system update > via storage media and let it do its thing but when it reached 100% and the machine kinda rebooted the screen turned blue and i dont know what was happening.

basically i could press the psn button on the controller then press X and i would briefly see a sony screen and a setting for changing the language although when i clicked x and this sony screen would appear for 1 second the ps3 would go like reboot itself and blue screen same process..

i didnt understand so i turned the machine off and turned it back on same blue screen exept this time i clicked x and everything seemed normal again the machine rebooted and would let me change settings then create a profile ect and i was at main menu. this was last night so after thinking it was a small problem now its booted up and is working fine i turned the machine off.

Although turned it back on today and same blue screen same problem exept when i turned the machine off this time the ps3 turns on greenlight, No screen i tried hdmi and scart lead neither will work, i tried doing the recovery menu but that will also not work because i think the ps3 is just not booting up at all thats why there is no screen now.

Bascially when holding the power buttong while its on red it turns on... i keep holding 10 seconds later turns off and i cannot get it too beep twice too get too the recovery menu because it wont even show me a screen when i turn the ps3 on so can anyone help me and thanks too anyone who knows why this is happening.

The screen doesnt come on it just turns on but the ps3 does nothing. i also cant get too the recovery settings.

had this weird problem yesterday knowing I have not done any video setting changes, nor recall a pending software installation. When I start the PS3, green light comes up and then nothing happens. Insert the Game into the slot, blue light blinks and again nothing happens. No video, no sound, and no, it’s not output setting problem as many others have guessed in forums. Try to assign your wireless controller and you’ll know. It doesn’t. If it was on, output and controller assigning I assume should be two separate things.
Symptoms:
On start, PS3 Green light comes up but nothing happens. No sound or video
Insert game or any disc into the slot, blue blinks and again nothing happens
Try to assign wireless controller, nothing happens.
Try restart the console, unplug it for a while, or keep it on for long time again does not solve the problem.


this is exactly my problem although the system wont let me get too the recovery menu too even try fix, when the ps3 button is red i press and hold it for 10 seconds it turns on then later turns off 1 beep so then i repeat waiting for 2 beeps but it doesnt happen.
