OK i have only 1 PS3 so only 1 HDD as well (the original) and i want to downgrade my PS3, i have an E3 Flasher and the E3 Card Reader as well.

So my questions are,

what CFW will allow me to play online with my JB-PS3?

ALSO is it possible to host mods online with only your JB-PS3? (without 2 PS3's)

1.You can go online with any CFW, make sure you have the .pkg installed to spoof your System Update to 4.40 and make sure you have a valid consoleid. Then you can go online.

Best Cfw to go online from are Rogero 4.40 and or if you like Debug PS3ITA 4.21 Which spoofs 4.40 FW There's cfw other people may recommend as well but you can go online most CFW because of Spoofers. Also for the mods someone may be better help.

if you wanna get banned in 2 secs go on 3.55 online or rebug 4.40 or spoof. Just stay on 3.55 and data transfer to 4.40 ofw

PS3ITA 4.21 v0.9 spoofs to 4.31. You should tell him atleast which version of PS3ITA spoofs to 4.40.
