First off if it's a huge file I would recommending installing them on the PS3 Hard Drive. Second go to the game you want to play and go to the game option by pressing Square. If the game is external then check external, internal check internal. Make sure if you a Blu ray game in the ps3 that BD Mirror is check as it really helps on most games save and play. If it still freezes click on fix permission in the game menu and see if that fixes it up.
