I'm having a bit of an issue attempting to convert my NOR CEX flash to DEX using c2d.

It throws out the following error:

ERROR: Cannot open [eid_root_key.bin]
ERROR: Cannot open [eid_root_key.bin]
ERROR: Cannot open [eid_root_key.bin]
Wrong format of EID key file: 48 bytes or 256KB expected, but -1 found!

The key was dumped using eEID_RKDumper

I've looked around but couldn't find anyone else reporting the same problem with error code -1.

Any help is appreciated.

What size is your eid root key?

this is because your computer is hiding the extenstions on your computer same thing happened to me go to a folder and press alt+t and go to folder options then go to view and then uncheck the box that says hide extensions for know file types then go to yout eid_root_key.bin it probably has .bin.bin just remove one of them and then try again i had this same problem

that size is correct try using a different app to convert your dumps theres way too many people having problems with c2d try using cex2dex app instead this is what i used and it worked flawlessly
