There's no such thing as a 4.40 jb. You need a 3.55 ps3 on official firmware or custom firmware then updated to a custom firmware and run a spoof or just data transfer to another ps3 that's updated.

you need to get a Modded W@W patch and put it on your USB then put it in to your right slot on ps3.
then go to AsowmefileManager go to Dev_hddo USRDIR your bless and copy patch from your USB on the left to the right start up W@W and your done!!

Just do it via FTP or using the file manager in multiMAN. Make sure you have a modded W@W patch. If you're using a file manager, put the modded patch on a USB storage device, and plug it in to the USB slot closest to the Blu-Ray drive. If you're using FTP, just put the modded patch on your computer desktop.

dev_hdd0 --> USRDIR --> BLUS30192

The modded patch goes in BLUS30192. BLUS/BLES might be different depending on the region of the disc. Search on Google for links.
