First of my system details:
I have the first 80gb ps3 that came out, Not the one that plays ps2 games but you get what I mean.
Also the (system Software) is currently version - 4.41 united states.

Second, I have never really attempted for hack/mod my ps3 before, I Modded my wii with 4.3U letter bomb, And my psp with 6.60 PRO-B10 but who haven't? Well anyway, I need someone who has done it before to point me in the right direction. I would love to learn for the new gaming systems and I'm open ears. I need the direct links for what I will need, CFW, Extentions, Details on the tools I'll need, Apps, And anything else.

downgrade

Geez theses answear are enlightening, first off, google "How to check how far i can downgrade my ps3", you will find many tutorials on how to check how far you can downgrade your ps3. Next up you need to buy a E3 flasher which is about 100$. You need this to downgrade your ps3 because since 3.55 it is not possible to downgrade anymore. If you buy a E3 and downgrade you can follow one of the many usefull tutorials here on NGU that will teach you everything you need to know.

Just ordered my e3 Flasher.. It's a pain in the @$$ to mod any ps3. I got mine from ModchipCentral. Just google it and follow the tutorials on how to open you system and install it.
