Or what are my options in order to be able to spoof and mod online on games such as GTA IV, MW2.

You don't need to be on a spoofer to mod Mw2 and GTA IV, I don't think there will be anymore spoofers for 3.55 so you are gonna have to switch to a 4.xx CFW then you will be able to use the spoofers and mod BO2, Mw3 etc

There's little to no reason to stay on 3.55 these days. Just install Rebug 4.41.2 from XMB on top of 3.55 CFW by following the guide below:

1- Make NOR/NAND dump (optional):
Install latest version of multiMAN (4.40.00), plug in a FAT32 formatted USB flash drive into the right USB port, launch multiMAN under Games and go to mmOS > Press [O] on any file > Open in HEX viewer > Press [SELECT] > Press [START] > Export GameOS LV2: Select No > Export HV LV1: Select No > Export FLASH: Select Yes

2- Install Rebug 4.41.2 from XMB:
Download Rebug 4.41.2 from Rebug's website, verify the md5 hash, rename the PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP, put it on your FAT32 formatted flash drive in PS3\UPDATE, go to System Update and Update via Storage Media. Make sure there's NO original game disk in the drive and that you DON'T Update via Internet or else you would risk installing OFW higher than 3.55!

3- Enable QA:
Install Rebug Toolbox from Package Manager, launch it under Games, go to Utilities and enable QA. This is to ensure easier and safer downgrading.

Make sure you use the latest version of mM (4.40.00) because it's the only Backup Manager compatible with 4.41 CFW atm.

It's risky putting a CFW over a CFW you could brick the Ps3 its better to put the console back to 3.55 OFW then put the new CFW on

No it's not risky and you won't brick anything...

Rebug CFW is the most reliable and stable CFW out there and can be installed on any CFW without any risk of brick...

Just install it on top of your 3.55 CFW as explained above and you'll be fine...

You are right and you are wrong, yes it is good to be on the latest rebug firmware and whatnot but there are tools tons of people use like ps3 ucer chet code unique etc, and that only operates on 3.55 cfw some of the codes work with the latest firmware but not the most kick ass codes like inf health god mode etc, anyways i got 2 ps3s on the latest firmware and i have 1 on 3.55 for my own personal use where i use awesome cheats in may games, now what ticks me off is i want to sync my trophies so it would be very nice of some of you to tell us how to do that because p to 4.31 it was possible, see the thing is 3.55 has its perks almost anything is possible on it like installing linux and whatnot and alot of people love these capabilities including myself so anyway if someone can help us out we would be most greatful.
