So right now i have a ps3 on 3.55 ofw, and im not sure what i should use to jailbreak it, i have a 4.40 cfw from rebug.me but i don't know if the 4.40 cfw has install package files etc... my question basicly is, should i jailbreak my 3.55 with geohots jailbreak then update to 4.40 cfw then install the 4.41 spoofer, or just install the 4.40 cfw from the start then 4.41 spoofer

Install Kmeaw 3.55 CFW, then Use Rebug 4.21.2 or 4.30.2 REX Firmwares.. They have install packages..

There is no Rebug 4.40 firmware only 4.30.2 "REX" and 4.41.2 "Lite"

Just update from 3.55 directly to a 4.xx firmware, they ALL have "*Install Package Files" on them. No need for GeoHotz JB at all.

Eh i'm pretty new to all this modding stuff, a 4.xx firmware??.. lol

Uhh yes....4.xx...as in any Version 4 CFWs like 4.21.2, 4.30.2, 4.41.2....you get it? 3.55 would be a 3.xx CFW

basicly what i want is to be able to go online and host mw2 1.14 mod menu lobbys, n shit so what should i download that would let me go online?

You don't need to go online on your CFW to host MW2 1.14 :dumb: unless you want to RTE MW2 you would have to go online on your CFW

Do you just have the one Ps3?
If you got 2 Ps3s one on OFW and the other on CFW just data transfer from your CFW to your OFW then you can host MW2 1.14 online simple :happycry:

Listen to me friend.
This is the Best u are able to do right now:

-install KMEAW's CFW on your 3.55 OFW
-download qa flag, install it via "install packages" and run it
-now download REBUGS 4.41.2 Lite CFW and install it over XMB
-Congratulations, now u are on a CFW and are able to go online too.
-Download now You must login or register to view this content. (it inclueds homebrews for 4.xx CFWs) and use blackbox for ur mw2 lobbys

-If you wish, u then can simply downgrade to 3.55 again by using REBUGS 999 Downgrader (just install it over XMB) and u are on 3.55CFW. But dont stay on it, install OFW 3.55 over it again and then u would be at the beginning again.
