Post: Why is There a Higher Change of a Brick on a Downgraded Console?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm sending in my PS3 slim this upcoming week to get downgraded. When I look at charts of CFWs and installing & chances of brick, it says the chance is higher on a downgraded console. Why is that? Maybe someone wise & who has knowledge with PS3 CFWs can enlighten me. What I'm going to have him do is: downgrade it, and install 3.55 Kmeaw, then send it back to me. Then I'm gonna do the whole process of going on DEX, ie. getting the eid_root_key ( I've done this all before). Then I want to install rebug 4.30.2 rex. So can I do that without bricking my PS3? I just really don't want to have to send it back it to have him unbrick it! Thanks for anyone with a decent, logical answer Smile
