so i have a problem
my friend update his ps3 from kmeaw to 4.21.2 Rebug
now it say update 4.21
and no install package files

any help how to fix that?

He is on OFW 4.21.
had he a disc in while updating?

i had the same conclusion, also happened to my friend. Console will updating from disc instead of usb device. I wonder if it's still down-gradable with flasher

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it updated from the disk & he's on OWF. That happens to a lot of people & it sucks :p

i told him he didnt put the cd out
he said i did plug it out before i updated
some people just dont listen

Rebug CFW doesn't have Install Package Files, it has Package Manager. Does he have that??
