(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU,
Today was a day that I dreaded the most. The day, that my beloved DEX machine, has left this cruel world. I just installed Ps3ita and was switching to HDMI, when it just shut off. Ever since I have been desperately trying to find a fix/method to fix it, even if it was temporally. Does anyone, ANYONE, know of a fix for this poor machine? I tried replacing the thermal paste in it, and it looks as if it had already been done by somebody else. I replaced the paste, and put it all back together, to get shat on. Nothing happened, its still in YLOD/RLOD state. Please, if somebody out there knows how to fix this, please, for the love of god tell me. I don't have the money to pay for another, and it is far too early for me to give up my education on Developer console functions and uses. Thanks guys, I hope you feel, and reach out to assist. Until then,
~JHD~

It had nothing to do with DEX itself, it was the hardware. YLOD/RLOD is caused by something with the hardware.

you need to use a Heatgun to heat the boards, and good thermal paste. i used to do that to my old JB before i got rid off it.
it worked for me

I tried that man. The thermal paste was $9 at Staples, and I heated the bottom of the board over the stove across a casserole dish and pices of wood to keep it off of direct heat, and then used a Blow Dryer to heat the two boards. The boards were hot as fuuuuuuuuuuu- and the actual board itself was pretty damn warm.

You don't have YLOD, that sounds like something to do with Ps3ita Loader or something. I don't know though.
