Problems (in game) modding (Callofduty)

I just wanted to tell you a few problems I have been experiencing with alot of games on my custom firmware PS3.
Well the problem is that every time I have replaced an eboot.bin or patch_mp.ff file for the old & new cods out and my friends try to connect or I try to find a game no one can seem to connect. I have checked everything on my side and can't seem to see what the problem is for this to happen.

My internet connection is fine, the nat type is on open and I use the same internet connection to play on my official firmware PS3 so it can't be that.

I honestly do not know what it is quite frustrating but if you can help please leave a message below.

(GTAIV modded files installation)

Every time I install the correct files for gtaiv for e.g Script, Update img, script network I replace it with the ones already installed and go on the game and there's no mod menu or any type of mods. I am currently using an original disk copy for this game to.

What COD game?

So far the ones I tried where this problem has started is MW3 & MW2.

hmm that is weird... and have you been able to play online normaly even with those EBOOTs and .ff files patched?

Only thing I can do is go into a private match and it works fine but when its time for people to connect or for me to find a game no one can connect at all.
Cant even connect to my friends as well.
