Can’t trickshot me!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, I have gathered some money and I am planning to buy a PS3 that can be JailBroken or a possible CFW can be installed.
I have a couple of questions:
1. Should I buy a PS3 with pre-installed CFW or JB?
2. If I buy a OFW 3.55 PS3, what is the best way to hack the PS3?
3. What CFW or JB should I use?

Thanks in advance Happy

I have already pre-ordered the PS4 Happy

If you don't want to wait for the PS4 since you want to hack and do more with your game system then I would suggest either buying a used PS3 somewhere at a store since most 3.55 PS3 are banned, you can look at what model PS3 can be downgraded to jail break a PS3 here; You must login or register to view this content. however just so you know that will require to buy a flasher or using a downgrade service.

Also if you get a 3.55 OFW PS3 you can install any CFW you like, and there is a 4.41 CFW so you wouldn't have to spoof your PS3, which is the REBUG 4.41.2 LITE CFW.

I have a couple of questions:

1. It would be better if you buy one on OFW 3.55 or below and mod it yourself. You don't know what other users have done with it if it was pre-modded. You need to look for a FAT or a SLIM with model number of CECH-25xx or lower. If it's a CECH-25xx, the Date Code should be 1A or below (older than April 2011). If it is one of those models and it's been updated to OFW above 3.55, you need a hardware flasher to hack it.
2. Just install Rebug 4.41.2 from XMB and then enable QA from the Rebug Toolbox.
3. Rebug 4.41.2.

To those saying 'save for PS4' and suchlike - a PS3 with CFW is likely to be far better than an at-launch PS4. If the OP is using the PS3 for what I'm assuming.
