Post: Struggling To Mod My Ps3 Can Anyone Help?

I am trying to mod my ps3 for gta 4 but I'm not having much luck , I have a slim ps3 and its 4.41 (yes I know silly me) so I'm trying to downgrade but I know there's not much point and I should just buy another ps3 but I really don't want to do that.
Is there someone who can help me out giving a very detailed guide of what I can do ? Even if it means using some sort of social network such as whatsapp for example as I do it.
So basically I need to downgrade my ps3 to 3.35 , then as I want to be able to use the mods online for multiplayer in gta's free mode I'd need to jailbreak , then after all that adding in the mods ?

Yes a 2nd PS3 is advised so you can data transfer, but you will also need to check if your PS3 is downgrade able by checking your model number, if you have a E3 and you cant afford another PS3 you could downgrade and then update again to play online. there is tuts on multiple forums on the process.
