so i've been looking into purchasing an E3 flasher but i want to make sure i 100% need one, so here's what im confused about,

i just did a version check on my ps3 slim and it said that the minimum i can downgrade to is 2.70, im currently on 4.41 so is it possible for me to downgrade to 3.55 without an e3 flasher or do i definitely need one?

I think you need one, I think there are some services on eBay but I think they are quite expensive. But yeah I think you need one.

okk awesome, just wanted to make sure! thanks a lot! and so if i do downgrade it to 3.55 will i be able to access psn on bo2 or do i have to upgrade to a higher firmware to allow spoofing, or is it just a no go altogether?

You would need a spoof I think to play online, But I wouldn't do any mods on BO2 because you'll get banned pretty quick. Make sure you don't use your private id.

yeah i was planning on doing it on a new account but if i did it on a custom game on zombies that would work okay right?

Account wouldn't matter, you would get console banned. And I'm still sure that you'd get banned. Other people please correct me if I wrong.

ahh that's annoying, is there any way to undo a console ban?

yeah was just reading that if you input a blank one it doesnt register with sony, im thinking i'll use the E3 flasher to just dual boot OFW and CFW to be safe, and there must be some cfw's out there that have a spoofer attached to it, all i want to do really is RTE, thank you very much by the way
