Hold power button till it beeps twice
go into debug settings once ps3 has started up and turn off debugger

Hmm its not in debugger mode I guess? When i hold the power button it takes me to safe mode but with only the default settings.(System Update, Restore PS3, Restore Data Base, ETC.)
