Hurah!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so my ps3 is bricked because of my E3 Flasher. I was flashing to downgrade and it failed. The E3 deleted the data off the NOR chip but failed when trying to write the patched BIOS. Recently, a piece from the E3 Flasher mainboard (the little cylinder with the protective case) broke off. I know I can solder it back on but i really suck at soldering small things. I bought a new mainboard and clip. I just wanted to know if I can update the E3 Flasher because my ps3 wont stay on.

As long as you have a clean copy of your bios, just follow a downgrade tut and it should fix it. That's how I fixed mine :p. The E3 needs to be working fully, obviously.

update it through USB? and as wolf said as long as you got a good bios it can be fixed Upside Down Happy also just try your best at soldering...solder to one of the GND ponits on the motherboard, so you wont mess up the clip.
