At the end of it, it had a download for a 3.55 firmware for DEX. Everything installed correctly. However, ever since I got on that firmware, I can't switch to any other...I've tried both rebug 4.21.2 and 4.1.2 LITE, and both give me this error before even installing "The data is corrupted (80029CCA)." I have no idea what to do.....

you can only downgrade via a downgrader pup.and you cant install a dex fw over cex or cex over dex..

use the Rebug '999' downgrader (will put you on a rebug version of 3.55 spoofed to 999) then try installing them i had the same issue but it seems like in some cases you need to start on rebug 3.55 to get to higher versions. so maybe it was the type of dex 3.55 you installed if it wasnt rebug then thats why, all rebug rex firmwares support BOTH CEX or DEX so no issues with installing the downgrader
