Every time I go through the steps, I try to update via storage device and I get a message saying "data is corrupted." I've also tried downgrading but my ps3 doesn't even recognize that. This is probably because the original firmware was 4.10...
So my biggest questions are:
1> WHY IS MY PS3 UNJAILBREAKABLE?
2>WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF 3.55? WHY IS IT ALL EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT? WOULDNT YOU WANT THE LATEST CFW?

you cant jailbreak it because the minimum fw version for 3k & 4k versions is over 3.56+..you can only hack consoles with minimum fw version 3.55...you can whait to cobras ode..they say it will work on all ps3s..i dont belive it but why not..you need 3.55 because the exploid to get the codes run is only on 3.55..like payloads and connection lv kerns..
