Quoting Helps Alot

So i downgrade my ps3, and i now need a custom firmware.
I updated my firmware when the Geohot jailbreak first came out out of boredom.
I know stupid, right? Well now i dont know what the best CFW is to have.
If you could post what you think is the best that your are using and why it would be a big help!

Also, i am looking for some good patches or mods for some games.
Ill make a little template for them and some other things will be in there.
Answer at your own will(if you worry for flame, PM me your post), and please dont flame other people about what they think and like.
Im not planning on going online with my CFW console for risk of ban, so any patches or mods that I must be on a jailbreak to do will most likely not be used.
