You only need to solder one wire (I forgot what gauge) in the middle of the NOR clip cord
The only reason why I would use dual boot is to play any game that you're not modding for extra protection to not get banned.. I'm just going to warn you that if you get banned on your custom firmware PS3 there won't be much of a point of dual-boot anymore..
