i have a ps3 (FAT MODEL) that's downgradeable to 2.45 MFC NOV 2008

what equipment would i need to downgrade this model and install CFW on it ????

just a little background on me:
i've been modding since the xbox and ps2 days i've must have done at least 100 systems between xbox, ps2, wii, xbox 360 etc... , i took a break from modding during the mid 360 years due to all the systems being banned on LIVE (i went thru 3 systems myself) not to mention RROD systems (i think that was like 2 or 3) but anyway i figured i'd get back into it with the ps3 as they are now cheap to acquire and the next gen system are in route

any help would be greatly appreciated i look forward to giving back to the elite community here

is your ps3 NAND or NOR?

i think its nor becasue it is firmware 2.45

OPPS yea i forgot to post that (i knew i was forgetting something...) it is a CECHL01

i'm not sure if it's a NAND or a NOR

from what i've been reading i think the new models are equipped with the NAND the older models (like mine) are equipped with a NOR (please correct me if i'm wrong)

so E3 Flasher is compatible

ok so all i need is an E3 flasher??? is there anything else that i am going to need equipment wise??
