Will the ps3 be able to update to 3.55? because I Remember trying to install latest firmware on my phat 60gb and it always stop at 83%, which had a broken blueray drive.

Why I ask?
I remember reading somewhere that ps3 wont install firmware unless all part are functional.

I haven't actually try yet, just curious. My phat ps3 got stuck in a update loop because of this problem so i don't want the same to happen to my spare slim.
