(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was trying to flash my ps3 with a new idps so I flashed my ps3 on rebug 4.46 then I went to 3.55 cfw by using 3.55.4 999 downdrader so I can get my EID key but I believe I wasn't suppose to reflashed my ps3 on 3.55 so once I did and it restarted it said the system could not run properly and told me to upgrade to a firmware 3.55 or greater but I tried everything but it didn't work. Firmware's I tried were 3.55 OFW, 3.55 kemeaw, 3.55.4 downgrader, and Rebug 4.46 lite and nothing works I get the error code 8002f2c5 any ideas

this happened to me i update to 3.55 OFW and it worked

Go to OFW or try Rogero downgrader. But it should work through recovery menu with OFW

I tried 3.55 ofw and 4.46 ofw both had same Data is corrupted (8002f225) and rogero downloader was (8002f2c5)

Hmm seems to me you've forgotten to QA flag/Toggle.

...So yeah 1st download Rebug's toggle_qa.pkg You must login or register to view this content. or direct mirror from here -> You must login or register to view this content. . It'll only work/run on 3.55 or 3.41 firmwares (so ye make sure you're on 3.55 kmeaw or rebug's 3.55.4 downgrader or rogero's 3.55, you're choice, but ye a 3.55 CFW) and from your USB stick, install & run/X Toggle QA appbrew, and it'll do it's job & dehash your PS3 successfully if after you heard the beep beep sound. (if you don't hear it, try/run it again)

And after that, install you next choice of firmware (that's CEX) via recovery mode.

No luck man im still stuck on the same part with the same error code every time I turn it on it does the samething tell me it cant run properly on the current software please update to 3.55 or better then once i try a firmware it says data is corupted error code (8002f2c5) i tried rebug 3.55.4 kemeaw and rogero all had same outcome I think there is nothing else I can do

If this helps at all I did this in this order
I was on rebug 4.46 lite cfw i wanted to play clean by patching a new idps to my flash and updating to ofw i was doing with the whole hacking scene
so I got the flash off my ps3 using multiman 4.46
then I downgraded using rebug 3.5.5.4 downgrader then I put the flash back on my ps3 then the system restarted and said it could not run on the current software and told me to update to 3.55 or higher no firmware has worked yet I cant even go to xmb im stuck on the screen after you plug in a ps3 controller it tells me to press select and start to update and recovery menu doesnt update either i even tried doing every option except restart ps3 they all stay at preparing please wait

Hmm, maybe your PS3 can't detect your USB stick or perhaps the .PUP
May i ask Is is your USB stick/flash drive format on FAT32 or NTFS?

Make sure the CFW .PUP is in full size & uncompressed & that is into your USB stick in “PS3” folder & inside that another folder called > “UPDATE” folder & pup file belongs in there & must be (re)named to “PS3UPDAT.PUP” <- without the "" quotes

And also i'd check the MD5 check & verify the fimware/.PUP file/s if i were you, because maybe they haven't been fully downloaded.
