also after I convert it to dex do I n3ed to install any certain firmware to keep it on

Watch this YouTube tutorial. Credits to DEREKTROTTER for his tutorial on here which MzBomb3rZz used.

You're on CEX right now. Follow the link to convert to DEX. Once you're on DEX, you'll be on Rebug 4.21 REX or 4.30 REX I'd recommend you update to 4.46 D-REX.
