BTW, I've spent many hours opening the Ps3 over and over again. Just be patient calm and don't rush it man.
Once it is done the feeling is great =)

Thankyou buddy for the picture I was clipping it on the right way after all, thank you I think my problem was when I put the ps3 back together I think I crushed the e3 ribbon and now I have another on order I hope I can get it right this time. lol . I seen a different picture that depicts that I can have the e3 flasher all clipped on and the sony main board with power supply and fan without the plastics or emf shield and so I will try it that way when my new e3 ribbon arrives tomorrow so hopefully I don't crush this one. :/

Hi, I have a big problem can someone please help me, I pluged my e3 flasher on and updated it, then next I switched the 3rd switch up on the e3 and the rest of em down then it did the 8 blue lights one by one and I then turned off and took out the SD card and copied the original dump to my pc then I re-inserted the SD card into the TF Board and turned on with all the swictches down ready for creating a restore and pushed the start button on the TF Board once ps3 reached the menu but the clip must not have been seated correctly so it returned with 10001100 which is not seated correctly error so I turned off ps3 then tried to reattach the clip and then held my finger on it and powered the console on again and pressed start on board but it returned with a 11001111 error so I turned it off and then tried to reseat the clip once more and powered it on but it now only tries to start and then beeps 3 times and turns off with the red light flashing till I pull the power cord out. So it now does not even turn on only get 3 beeps and shuts off., PLEASE someone help me I have no idea what I have to do to fix it...
