Yeah you can, i have been doing so for a while now, haven't gotten banned yet. Just use the MW3 Eboot Builder 1.5.0.0,
create a eboot and save it to your desktop. Then load up Bad Luck Brian's CEXBuilder (Just download both of those things) after you double click on it and it pops up click on "load eboot" then click on the eboot you made on the MW3 eboot builder and open it. it'll say "DONE" now click on "name changer" change your name to something other than your REAL psn name and click on "Generate Eboot" make sure you click on your firmware "3.55 or 4.xx" and then load up Filezilla or comgenie's awesome file manager and put it in your ps3 and BAM finally you can host lobbies safely lol.
