Post: What Happened to My PS3, and How do i Fix it?

Can’t trickshot me!
I was recently was playing GTA5 and i RTM my garage, and after that My ps3 froze, so i restarted it.
and Usually I got a message saying the file system is corrupt bla bla bla [PRESS x to Enter] [Press o to cancel]
it comes up everytime the playstation is restarted/shutdown incorrectly.
Well here is the problem, This time instead of asking me, it loaded until it said (REBUG) on the screen and i got this Blue Screen full of languages. it said (the file system is corrupt press x to restart) i restarted by pressing X and when it restarted it said
The File system has been restored as well as these User(s)
*ReAct (these are the Usernames on PSN profiles, The * was added after restoration)
*Kevin
and now when i try to sign in, there is no Email or Password anymore... i need to Re-Sign Up
so i click Sign-Up (Use Existing Account) and it gives me ERROR 80710104
So i try Create NEW account and still the same Error code,
I make a New USER on my PlayStation called "Test" and tried to sign up and same shit different User.
I HAVE TRIE
going back to CEX and re sign up = ERROR 80710104I HAVE TRIE
using the latest CFW (Rogero 4.50) = ERROR 80710104I HAVE TRIE
Quick Format Playstation = ERROR 80710104I HAVE TRIE
Restore File System in Recovery menu = ERROR 80710104I HAVE TRIE
Rebuild Database in system recovery = ERROR 80710104I HAVE TRIE
Re-installing CFW (Rebug 4.41) = ERROR 80710104I HAVE TRIE
Installing Later CFW (REBUG 4.46) = ERROR 80710104Just to inform you, I get the Error trying to sign up on PSN after doing those different options
It was working fine before the restoartion and i never touched my internet
Right now im FULL Formating my 1TB ps3 and going to see if it resolves the ERROR, I research the error and it says its a DSN errror and sometimes when i try to sign up it gives me a message "The Server Connection has Timed Out"
After Full Format and still have this Error, Im going to install 4.50 OFW and then downgrade it again. This is Ridiculous

After doing some research i found out that that error you are getting is a possible DNS error. I am not certain for sure. But here are a few external thread i found on the PlayStation Forums.

I have also found on NGU a guy having the same problem. Due to no replies after this guy posted the fix, it worked :y:

2) Locate the IP address of your router. For example’s sake, mine is a D-Link DI-604 with IP 192.168.0.1

Once you find it, enter the values above for DNS (208.67.222.222 primary and 208.67.220.220 secondary). - Mine had 0.0.0.0 for both primary and secondary before I did this which makes me further believe that this was the problem. - Make sure to apply the changes.
7) Check the connection on your PS3 and hope that it is working.

As for the blue screen, i had that before. I turnt my PS3 off by the mains not the button. This could obviously mean that you've corrupted the Software. My suggestion would be to put it into recovery mode be update to either the same CFW or a newer one.

But after its done formating ( Another 6hours to go )
im going to do the primary and secondary on the ps3, and DMZ mode
I have already set it up on my Router. Hope for this to resolve, if not... throwing this shit ps3 in the garbage and getting new one
