First you need to be on 3.55 to jailbreak
If your on higher firmware than 3.55, then you need a hardware to downgrade and then jailbreak.

You need to find out if your ps3 model can actually be downgraded and jailbroken.
Forget about it if you have a 3k and 4k PS3

I've got a guy who hosts modded lobbys on ghosts who is going to explain through Skype when I get a 3.55 ps3, becuase I'm wanting to host lobbys pal

another choice is when you get a ps3 that is between models CECH H01-P0x phats or slims CECH 2001 - 250x
send it or come visit me in Indiana for a downgrade. I am the local in the middle of Inidana and have been doing repairs and hacks for the past 3 years for lasers and downgrading nor models. i have even fixed rsod and even repaired ppl that switched to DEX and back to CEX of consoles i sold and ppl that screwed up theirs that paid me to hack it.
