I recently got my ps3 downgraded to 3.55 ofw. I updated to 3.55 rebug and made sure i qa flagged. I then updated to Rogero 4.50 and that's when the problems began. My ps3 would install package files just fine and everything but after i installed them they didn't run, they would sit at a black screen and freeze pretty much. I turned the ps3 off and on multiple times and the pkg files never ran they would just sit at the black screen. I decided to switch hard drives so i installed the Habib's "kmeaw like" 4.50 custom firmware on the new hard drive and everything worked fine, the install pkg files worked and ran and everything was perfect. After RTM for some time it froze so i turned off my ps3 and turned it back on. After that it all went downhill again and the ps3 would freeze alot even after sitting at the xmb for a few seconds. I don't know what's going on with the ps3 but if anyone has any idea on any of this please help. Thanks.

My main question is why is homebrew not loading? It installs perfectly fine but everytime i try to load it it just sits at a black screen and i have to restart my ps3.

Most probably you have a error on your ps3 hdd and when run any homebrew freeze your ps3!!
just make backup,formatt hddd, and restore backup! You now are fine

and by formatting it you mean through my ps3 right? or through pc? thank you!

after you make backup, format hdd on ps3 ( find the option) and after restore backup!

I don't really have much on my ps3 so i can skip the back up part right?
