Post: What would be the best "jailbreak setup" for me?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I've been looking into getting a jailbroken Playstation 3 for a quite a while. I think I understand the basics, but since theres so many programs and applications available; it's all kind of dizzying for a new guy like myself.

All I really want to do is mod games for my own personal enjoyment, and maybe every now and then a modded gta IV lobby with two other friends in it. So I was thinking about just getting the latest Rebug firmware for offline play, and then I could install some mod menu's on it and data transfer them to my 100% OFW ps3 for whenever I wanted to use them online, so there's a lesser chance of getting banned.

Can anyone see any holes in this? Should I even bother data transferring, and instead just use CFW with SEN enabler/psninja?

P.S- This is my first post as an NGU member, and I'm looking forward to being apart of the community! Oh, and sorry about the long post. Smile

Depends on what you want to data transfer e.g eboot.bin or modded ff files ect
eboot.bin cant be data transferred
.ff files can
Also psninja from my own experience is a bad idea use psid patch and disable cfw sycalls with it works a charm for me
What i use
Rebug 4.46 spoofed using rebug mode
psid patch to go online
multiman for file manager and back ups

PsNinja think about it your on a game you then delete all game history sony see right threw it your on a game but theres no history of it ?!
