make sure the clip is installed properly. What is your Ps3 model number?

If you cannot update it from microSD, you can always update it through the PC. Connect a USB to e3 flasher and the PC. Power on the ps3 and you should see a new drive on your computer. Open it and drag in the update.bin. Once you do that you should see all constant blue lights.

Well, if you still cannot update it through the Tf coverboard.....update it through the PC.
The e3 flasher is connected to the PS3 ok so now

Connect the a USB wire from the TF coverboard to your PC. Turn on the PS3 and you should see a new drive pop up in your My Computer window. New drive will be like the same thing is when you insert a USB flash drive in you computer and a "NEW DRIVE" pop ups: You must login or register to view this content.

open it and drag over the update.bin

then all blue lights should be light up and be constant/solid

if not, restart ps3 hold down the clip with your hand while dragging over the update.bin

If your not getting any blue lights its is because
1. the clip is not making good contact with the chip
2. the tf coverboard is not fully pushed into the e3 flasher
3. the metal cover is not attached the e3 flasher :You must login or register to view this content.
4. last your e3 flasher is defective/ not working
