I heard we could downgrade our PS3 using an e3 flasher. I have a NOR PS3 so I'm eligible to downgrade using an e3 flasher.

Before doing this, I'm not sure if I want to open my PS3 up and stuff, at the same time I'm not comfortable sending in for a downgrade service.

If you can tell me your experience on opening your PS3 and using the e3 flasher in general or first time doing it in the comment section that would be great.

I do have another fat PS3 that freezes while playing disk games , do you guys think it will be a good idea to put the e3 flasher on that console?

I would like to know if it is possible to downgrade more than one PS3 without buying another e3 flasher?

What are some cool things to do on CFW now a days? I remember when I had my CFW all I did was mod cod lobbies but COD is getting boring for me personally . Is there cool stuff you guys like to do?

I have a slim PS3 that has 2 broken ports , one was a bad port that was already damaged and one port that was manually damaged due to sliding usb sticks without caution. Is there anyway to fix the usb port that was manually damaged? I saw that the ticks were bent and some missing ticks. if not i would like to sell it but there are some accounts that are linked to that ps3 with CFW on it . I could delete it but the controller wont connect because the usb ports are broken. Is there anyway to delete the information.

I know I have a lot of questions and sound like a "noob" but I really do appreciate who do take the time to help me out. I really enjoy these forums because sometimes we could communicate each other while helping each other out.

Of course it was a little scary but after opening it up and fixing the clip over and over and over again, made me feel comfortable with opening and closing the ps3 up with ease. Later, I discovered that the Ps3 does not need to be reassembled in order to use the e3 flasher.

Since it is already acting up, I would practice on this one first. But then again the FATs have many screws =0/

Using the Samsung update.bin for the e3 flasher will let you downgrade multiple PS3. If you use the most current E3 flasher update, you will only be able to downgrade one PS3

Of course Modding and patching up games. The same ole stuff like making backups and playing them. Also, download PSN games and playing them. You might wanna look into the 4.46 CFW Cobra and it's plugins. That is something recent coming up in the scence.

about usb ports, it is a good idea to somehow get them fix. I had the same issue with bent ticks I had to burrow my gf's tweezers to pull them and make them straight. It worked for me afterwards. But those missing ticks might cause problems though. Really good luck with this bro.
