(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey I have a RSOD Ps3 I got it from trying to change from CEX to DEX but then I got RSOD. every time I enter recovery mode and try to update in it just freezes and when I try to rebuild data base it stays on "Prepairing".

Sounds like the hard drive is bad. If your recovery menu works until you try to have hard drive access then the problem is that. Just replace the hard drive, have a usb drive with what ever firmware you were using and put that in the PS3. When it powers up it will say no system software of something similar. Let it reinstall the firmware and fix the RSOD.
It happened to me, I was able to use the HD in my laptop after but it never worked in the PS3 again.
