Post: “The sign-in ID (email address) or password is incorrect.”

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I’ve ran into an issue recently where I’m unable to access the PSN network any longer on my CECH-2101A PS3 running REBUG REX 4.46 spoofed to 4.50. I’ve attempted to log in through the Sony PlayStation Network website and was successful. When I attempt to log in with the PS3 I receive the error:

  • “The sign-in ID (email address) or password is incorrect.”

I’m 100% positive I’m using the same credentials when logging in on the website as I am on the PS3. I’m not 100% sure the account is banned, but from doing research, I would be receiving an error code and a different message when attempting to log in. I’m going to make the assumption that my PS3 being on DEX, I may have to adjust a setting of some sort.

How this started:
I haven’t played online in over a month when my buddy asked me to help him out with something in GTA V. When I loaded up GTA V, I realized it needed to be updated to 1.09, so I attempted to log in and receive the message:

  • “An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8002A224)”

I remembering getting this message when my EID5 was not flashed properly, so I followed the same process as before and loaded up “PS3ITA Manager 1.51 -> Push START -> Network Tools -> Restore original console id (EID5)” and receive the message “Default console id is always set”. I use this process because, for some odd reason when I change the Console ID to CEX through REBUG Toolbox, it does not work.

I then exit back to the XMB and load “PSN Patch 2.20” and select the option “X Spoof IDPS & PSID, disable CFW & EXIT”. I hear the (3) three beeps and I'm then returned to the XMB. I proceed to attempt to sign-in to PSN and receive the following error message:

  • “The sign-in ID (email address) or password is incorrect.”

I’ve took the time and researched before I posted this and tried just about everything I could find with the debug settings through the XMB. I spent some time and put together an exact replica of every system setting I could document for reference here:

  • You must login or register to view this content. (Google Spreadsheet)

I’ve read the following threads and watched the following videos regarding this issue with no good results yet:

Any help would be extremely appreciated, I hope I answered most the questions I'd be asked with the Google Spreadsheet I put together. Thanks ahead of time!
