(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, I haven't used a jailbroken ps3 since Geohot's CFW and would like to start getting back into modding (like BO2, MW3, MW2, etc.), however, I am lost as to how to get started and what to do. If possible, I would like some help in understanding these things and I will try to provide as much information that I can. If you need more information, I will be happy to answer.

What I Do Know:

• I will be getting a ps3 on 3.55 OFW soon (3-4 days).
  
• I used to host challenge lobbies on MW2 and W@W and I am somewhat familiar with Comgenie's Awesome File Manager.
  
• I am fully aware that the PSN updated recently and I may not (or may?) be able to go online for a while.
  

What I Would Like To Know:

• What kind of CFW should I use to mod games such as MW2, MW3, BO2, etc? (I plan on being able to use them online, but not so publicly. Like with a group of friends.)
  
• In regards to the previous question, is Real Time Modding my only option? If so, what would I need to do so? (What CFW? CEX or DEX? How to get these things and use them?)
  
• If Real Time Modding isn't the only option, what else can I do? How?
  
• What is the difference between CEX and DEX? Which is less risky/more noob friendly? (I'm not that experienced with these things, can you tell? )
  
• What homebrew apps are essential for me to have? Any ones that are not essential, but nice to have?
  
• Is there anything else I should know before starting? (I want to be as prepared as I can.)
  

If this is posted in the wrong place or if there is a similar post with answers available elsewhere, please let me know. I have researched this website and others and can't seem to find straight answers (Although I might have missed something.)

Hey buddy so first the modding on ps3 has changed! Cex dex and RTM RTE All these cool thing's that make modding more fun then eboot's

so i would suggest CEX for you which one? well sadly there's a 4.55 update but! you can use 4.50 and spoof!

Thank you for your response! It is certainly a lot different than before! I have looked at the homebrew sites, so I know where to get them. One of the major questions I have is which ones should I get. I've heard that some are very important to have (like multiMAN or PSNinja v4) Are there any that would be very important for me to have? Other than that, I look forward to any other advice I can get and of course your pics.
