I just updated to DEX 4.21 REBUG REX .. And its many tutorials on how to like rtm with a ethernet cable from the ps3 to the pc. But i cant seem to get it to work. It would not find the IP, and thats my error. Is there like any suggestions out there i could try? Would have made my dream came true..

Thank You

Did you bridge connect your WiFi and your PS3 ethernet cable?

Once you've connected you Ethernet cable from your PS3 to your computer go to "Network and Sharing Center" on your computer. Then go to "Change Adapter Settings" , you should see your connection and another connection named "Local Area Connection" right click on your connection and then go to "Properties" go to the "Sharing" tab, make sure that both checkboxes are ticked and the top checkbox, once you've ticked that click the little dropdown feature and select "Local Area Connection" and then press Ok. The dropdown feature is this:
You must login or register to view this content.

Once you've done that, go onto your PS3. Go to the network setup or whatever. And instead of going wireless, click wired and click automatic on all of the network options and then try signing in. It should work Smile Sorry for the sloppy reply. Don't bridge your connections, just share your connection with the local area connection which is with your PS3.

Ok, ummm. Unbridge your connections. Make sure you are on the properties tab of your wireless connection not the ps3's.

Uncertain
Climbing up the ladder
IMO its a lot better to fork out £5 for a long ethernet cable (from your router to PS3) then go wireless with your PC/Laptop or if you have a spare super long ethernet cable use that instead of all the hassle of messing with these settings it took me about 3 days with hard googling and messing around to get mine to work and even then my connection was reduced so much because its been sent from my living room upstairs then im on the internet on my laptop which cuts it down even more then its been sent through to my PS3 its about 2 bars connection so if your looking to DEX RTM online lobbies this way isnt the way to go. (Just my advice) (Id help but I forgot how I did mine)

Is it beacause im using USB wireless lan card? Think thats why... Is there anyways to like get this menu bar thingy?
