(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi everyone i think im getting the ylod on my jail broken ps3 its a fat with 160 gigs recently when i play bo2 zombies online or offline my ps3 has like freeze spike like 3 times ps3 turns off and green for a second then yellow for a second then the red light blinks the rest of the time till i reset my ps3 through the button in the back.
my ps3 says on ps3 ita manager the cpu or whatevr is reaching 80-82 celcuis then the the big fan boosts in and it only goes down to like 79 degrees i dont know whats wrong with the ps3 its fone it a couple of times with gta 5 like it would load then just shutoff but it did that like twice then stopped and i barely play i play zombies or mp for like 5 minutes then it switches off. i do have a non-jailbroken ps3 its a slim im using at the moment but i like mods i have fun and its boreing with no mods i need this fixed imideitly

no it does not

Have you ever had your ps3 reflowed or reballed? Because I used to have a phat jailbroken ps3 and it never got that hot. Your ps3 is clearly over heating and there's some things you can do to see if it will cool down. 1. Is you can download a fan mod pkg and adjust your fan speed to custom and set your fan speed for certain temps. If you do this your fans won't be controlled by syscon and that's a good thing because normally it's too late before syscon can tell your ps3 to kick the fans on a higher speed. 2 is you can take apart your ps3 and replace the thermal paste. If you decide to do this step you should get artic silver 5. It will cost you around 7 to 15 dollars. Sadly if those steps do not work I would say either let the ps3 die and get it reballed which can cost $100 or up or just look on ebay for a jailbroken slim on ebay that can go from $100 to $200.

What wouldn't be possible? If it blink yellow then green and red it's over heating. The guy that you got from either used cheap solder balls or used leaded solder.

Well that sucks You can either A: Pay to get it reballed which costs $100 and up and it is more like a permanent fix but they can still get the ylod.B:You can do the oven fix that is better then the heat gun method but these methods only work for 3-5 months depending on many things and how often you use it. Or C: Do option B and save up money for a jailbroken ps3 slim
