Post: Unbricking PS3 with BIOS

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so about a year and a half ago I bricked my PS3 using an E3 Flasher... I never took a BIOS backup because I had done it before and was confident, but something went wrong and I got one beautiful bricked PS3. Well since then I have gotten another PS3 and am currently running Rogero 4.55 CEX on it. Well basically I am wondering if I could make a BIOS update of my current working PS3 and put it on my bricked console so it will work? The consoles are the exact same model number wise. So would it be possible?

Are you sure the ps3 is perma-bricked? Can you still try to get dump out of it?
Or did you reflash and erased you original memory in the nor?

But to answer your question.........
Nope you cannot use a different dump on another PS3. Each PS3 memory is unique so they can't be exchange or be transferred. Your non-working PS3 is pretty much useless or can be used to hold paper down or a good door stopper.

Yeah that's what I thought about the dump... O'well it would of surprised me if that method did work.

And I'm pretty sure it's a perma brick... Basically when I turn it on all it gives me is a black screen, nothing else. To turn it off I have to unplug it. I have not messed with it in over a year though.

If you didn't reflash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you might be able to get a dump and continue bro
Try to take the dump out of it and see if still good. And make sure you validate!!!!!
