- Do I need two Ps3s in order to mod games online? Gt6, gta5, Cod series etc.. Or just one like before?

-My current ps3 version is 4.55 and its the slim type 150GB ( i think )
Could I still downgrade it to 3.55 and jailbreak it?

-whats this E3 flasher I've read about on some places?

Hey buddy yes you only need one PS3 to mod games but a lot has changed since MW2 but there is a lot of tutorials here that can help. As for downgrading yes you can downgrade your console but you will need a E3 Flasher to do it. My advice would be to get someone with experience to do it for you just in case something goes wrong unless you fell that you can do it yourself. Anyway good luck and I hoped this helped :yes:

I Think its Best if You send Yours to a Trusted Downgrade Service.

Most of this wasnt necessary as hes already been on 3.55 JB to Mod MW2.

1. Find someone in your area that downgrades PS3s, theres a forum with a section (I think its a section) dedicated to this, I'd link it but its against the rules.

2. Once found Pay them either by paypal or sending the money in the box with the PS3

3. Get your ps3 back in within a couple days (obviously varies)

4. Upgrade to 4.55 OFW and repeat the process!


PS. The last step was a joke obviously... But seriously, get a E3 flasher in the long run its cheaper. You buy it £40 or whatever use it resell it for £30 = £10 spent on JB a PS3 or Multiple PS3s. Paying for someone to do it = £40-£50 on someone else doing it = 1 PS3 and no returns regarding money unless the PS3 is sold. + the risk factor of them taking the console

PS.PS. If they ask you to send the money in the box and to send it to a P.O Box I wouldnt accept as the chances are your going to get scammed. TBH I wouldn't put the money in the box unless they have a minimum of 10 pages of replys proving hes legit then I'd probably put the money in the box

I would never trust anyone downgrading my PS3 because they can:
1.Steal my PS3
2.Steal my console ID
3.Swap components/hardware of my PS3
4.Might get lost while in transit

I would also recommend you buy hardware to downgrade your ps3. There are many tuts on how to downgrade and jailbreak your PS3.
You just need to read read read read and get comfortable with taking the PS3 apart. I helped a 13yr old boy downgrade his ps3 with an e3 flasher through SKYPE. My point being, even a 13yr old can do it with a little guidance and patience.
