Now I know I can just get it fixed, but I don't want the problem to constantly hinder me from playing the system. I want to know if I should just get it reflowed and sell it on ebay, or reballed and keep it. Now I am pretty sure it is console id banned, because 2 weeks after it got the YLOD, a few of my psn accounts were banned on my OFW. So should I just sell the PS3 after I get it fixed and get a slim 3.55 OFW so I can Jailbreak that, or should I just get it reballed and hope to god it doesn't get broken in the process?

sell and get a slim. slims are faster and less chance of brick.

This should be more, I Really do not recommend Putting a fat PS3 on DEX. it will make it overheat faster as dex require more power and uses more. i recommend getting a Slim that u can Downgrade.
