If you could help me that would be awesome. So I have put the hardrive in right port, games folder is in there and it is also formatted to FAT 32. MM recognizes the game on the hdd but when I click on the game it exits out and game quit or something like that, I've also set permissions to external and then clicked set permissions. Then when I go to app home nothing is there and then even when I put in a disk nothing happens. Do I need that BD emulator on my HDD? When I install a game to the internal HDD everything works I just go back to the XMB and click app home and it loads :/

What multiman does is loads the game into any blue ray disc inserted into your playstation, your doing everything correctly and it exits out so that you can start the game by disc, just click the disc icon multiman loads the game onto the game

But every time I put the disk in its the one that I chose in MM. It plays what's on the disk not a back up game

So tell me your procedures, this is how its supposed to be done, Load multiman, press the backup you would like to play/load it exits to the XMB so that you can press the Blue ray disc the game thats inserted in your ps3.

put it any other game disk, when you are in MM go to the game you want to play and push Square and make sure you enable BD mirror in the settings on the bottom left of the screen. That should be the only thing you need to enable. After that, run the game, when you get back to XMB the disc you have in your reader should be changed to the name of your backup game and you should be able to run it by clicking on the disc icon.
