So my friend's PS3 came on REbug 4.46 DEX. However, we both agreed that Rebug isn't the best firmware for him because he has no interest in modding and will not use any of Rebug's special features, so we decided that we want to go to Rogero 4.50 since it's simpler and safer.

The question is, the flash that he dumps, will it be his DEX flash? And once he gets it, he can just get his eid_root_key normally on 3.55 then convert his flash to CEX? Or is that not how it works? Please don't link me to any tutorials because I've seen them all and all of them tell me to use weird applications and I want to use Rebug because it's tried and tested. Thank You
