Post: my ps3 stays black when it restarts help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well my ps3 says the system is corrupt so restore which I do then the system restarts but the screen stays black the two option that don't lose your data don't work the only way is to format but my ps3 is jb so I will lose the files

You won't loose your CFW if you format.
You can try add another harddrive.

Thanks for your reply well I tried it our cfw stayed just my multiman and stuff went which is not a issue thanks

Can you connect to ProDG target manager while it's black,
If yes then change Reset Mode to "System Release Mode" from target manager.
