That's the thing.
You can't do that bro, your ps3 is CEX retail.
In order to go to DEX you'd have to convert (plenty of videos on youtube)
For right now I recommend you upgrade to Rebug 4.21 to convert to DEX as that's the easiest way.

you need to convert from CEX to DEX bro before you can install DEX CFW on it

Since your new and not really familiar with cfw I suggest to stay on CEX and install Rogero 4.50, 4.55 or Rebug 4.46.1. And spoof it to 4.55 with SEN Enabler. DEX is more advanced type of firmware. But if you insist of installing DEX anyways. install Kmeaw 3.55 firmware and follow this: You must login or register to view this content.

a friend of mine bought a 3.55 ofw ps3 slim and tried to install all cfw! but all of them gave data corrupt error... Tried: rebug rex. 4.21.2 4.30.2 4.40.2 and also regero FW's. only 3.55 kmeaw works... but from there still not be able to go on rebug or any other fw.
