I think he means where are the actual messages received/sent on PSN saved, like in what folder in the PS3's directory.

oh ok i know that if u go on a ps vita with a ps3 account from say years ago whether u deleted all messages on ps3 xmb or not u can still read all sent , received messages from years ago on ps vita or used to be able to anyway
