Post: New Thermal Paste, Still YLOD?!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why does this still happen to me, I applied new thermal paste but still i get yold, like nothing has been changed

I used: Cooler Master High Performance

Do you guys have some tips to help me (exept contol fan utility)

Because i want to play without this control fan stuff

But the real question is WHY I still get YLOD fter Thermal Paste replacement?

Because you have to fix YLOD before you put Thermal Paste on and if you did that then i don't know inlease your fans broken or you bought the wrong kind of Thermal paste

Changing/re-applying thermal paste doesn't fix YLOD/RLOD...

Anyway if you want to to get your PS3 fixed then CPU & or GPU/RSX needs to be professionally reballed & reflowed back to the board i suggest, instead of the wrong heatgun way as that's only temporary fix & could permanently mess up the motherboard if done again & again.
