Yes, you can mod black ops 2 on almost any version. If you are on CEX, just download a RTM tool for 1.16 and connect and attach. There is no need to switch out files, unless on DEX. You would need a Debug Eboot for DEX.

You don't need a Debug Eboot on Dex... I'm on DEX and I use regular Eboots.

I know that, but thats not what I said. I said they are strictly for DEX, which means you don't have to use them on DEX, but if you did want to use a Debug it would have to be on DEX.

how are u connecting a tool without debug files? or using CCAPI while on dex?

Yeah I connect them through CCAPI 2.50 just to be safe and get lower chances of ban.

easiest way is to hire the game from a video store or borrow friends, put in ps3 go to multiman and copy to either the ps3 HDD (internal) or an external HDD connected to your ps3, or if you have a large download limit you can also download from torrent sites.
1 thing to remember is before you play the game in multiman go to the game options and set BD mirror option otherwise when you boot the game you will get a black screen

Best way, tell rue friend to loan you the game that you wnat copy it to ure HHD by Pressing triangle (/_\) and press copy to HDD, or download it from some sites. look on google or go get them on piratebay, depends where you from UK(BLES) US(BLUS) There if u need help, talk to someone better than me =D
