(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Title says it all. If I was to upgrade my PS3 HDD to 500GB, would It remove the jailbreak/cfw?

No. when you insert the New HDD though, be sure to reinstall your FW.

No. When You install the New HDD, it will ask to Install YOUR FW. Do So.

IF You want to Stay on CFW, Install CFW.

ah cool, im waiting for my ps3 to return to me off ebay, got it downgraded and jailbroken to 4.50ps3ita DEX, so all i would need to do is after installing my new HDD, ive just gotta have the 4.50ps3ita DEX firmware on a USB stick?

Yeah, as you upgrade your HDD, it should prompt you to install a Firmware.. Once that has arisen, just install your Custom Firmware again.

But what if its a DEX PS3? Do I install a DEX CFW?
