I'm cech-2**A so yes, i'm downgradable and I've set up the the connections well. I have my ps3 harddrive plugged into the motherboard and my e3 flasher and coverboard attached to my NOR chip. I put the first two levers down and the rest of them up, I have the update.bin samsung update on my microsd card but i don't understand why the e3 isn't lighting up? My pc reads the microsd card fine and i've formatted it correctly to fat32. Only the last light ever lights up whether i've plugged in the microsd card or not, can anyone help please? Is there a method to do this via microUSB? Thanks in advance!

Make sure the E3 Clip is connected properly and also taped down.

The hard drive shouldn't be plugged into the motherboard via eSATA, the E3 Card should be. Look at the other end of it, you'll see where it plugs in.

The hard drive can be plugged into its own port! The e3 flasher does not need to be plugged into the HDD port!!!

No, because the hdd doesn't have a pass through for the esata dock. If you have the dock, you plug the e3 in first, then plug the dock into the e3,and the hdd gets plugged into the dock.

Plug the e3 into your motherboard. Don't worry about plugging in your hdd.
